Delhi High Court judge Justice Tejas Karia on Wednesday recused himself from hearing a contempt plea against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including party chief Arvind Kejriwal, for allegedly sharing unauthorised clips of court proceedings online.
Justice Karia stepped back from the plea seeking contempt action against Mr. Kejriwal, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, and other AAP leaders for allegedly sharing videos of the court hearing of the AAP chief’s petition seeking the recusal of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma in the excise policy case.
