Ahead of the three-day special sitting of Parliament for amending the women’s reservation Act of 2023 to implement it before the next Lok Sabha election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed hope on Monday (April 13, 2026) that this would be achieved through “dialogue, cooperation, and participation”.
India was about to make one of the greatest decisions of the 21st century, Mr. Modi said while addressing a women’s conference on the Act, the Nari Shakti Vandan Sammelan.
