Karnataka Minister for Minor Irrigation and Science and Technology N. S. Boseraju visited the Quantum Computing Laboratory, Delta-Q, at the IMJ Institute of Research in Moodalakatte, Kundapur on Wednesday.
Watching the experimental setup of the ion-trap-based 16-qubit quantum processor being developed at the institute, Mr. Boseraju appreciated the initiative by the IMJ institute on future technology and innovation.
He emphasised the importance of promoting advanced scientific research and innovation ecosystems beyond metropolitan cities and encouraged the institute’s efforts toward building a globally relevant quantum technology programme in Karnataka.
