Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) Executive Director H. Prasanna said that the CET Seat Allotment Manthana, which began on Monday across 64 colleges in the State to provide information about the counselling process, received an encouraging response. He stated in a press release that more than 10,000 students, along with their parents, attended the workshops on the first day.
The workshops were conducted in government engineering, medical, and dental colleges across the State. Trained resource persons and staff appointed by KEA were present at the venues to guide aspiring candidates and create awareness. They also answered students’ queries.
Candidates had been instructed to book slots through the KEA website and then visit the college nearest to them. Around 13,000 people had registered to participate in the first day’s workshop, Mr. Prasanna added. Except for May 28, the workshops will continue every day until May 30 with two sessions each day. Candidates may attend along with their parents to learn more about the counselling process, he said.
