The Forest Department has suspended eco-tourism activities at Barlikadu following continuous rain in The Nilgiris and Coimbatore districts.
The Forest Department had earlier announced that eco-tourism activities would continue throughout May, anticipating robust footfall during the summer vacation.
The Department also suspended trekking by pilgrims on Velliangiri Hills from Wednesday due to the rainy conditions.
