Centurion University Chancellor Prof. G.S.N. Raju on Saturday (May 9, 2026) urged unemployed youth to pursue their goals with determination and a specific focus on skill development.
Speaking at a skill development awareness camp organised by Chaitanya Sravanthi at Dr. M.R. Deen Shadikhana in Kotaveedhi, Prof. Raju emphasised that practical expertise often outweighs formal certification in today’s job market.
Recalling the advice of former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Prof. Raju noted that many students holding engineering degrees and diplomas struggle to find employment because they lack hands-on experience.
He highlighted that Centurion University offers training across multiple disciplines and encouraged the youth to take advantage of these vocational courses to remain competitive.
Chaitanya Sravanthi president Shireen Rahman stated that the organisation is committed to guiding candidates, providing training, and recommending them to potential employers as part of an ongoing youth empowerment initiative.
During the event, Pranathi, a student from Kasturba School, who secured the State-level second rank in the Intermediate examinations, was felicitated.
