Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth on Friday said that the Union government will continue its uncompromising stance against terrorists.
Mr. Seth was interacting with the officers and soldiers at the Pangode Military Station here.
The Minister said that the concept Atma-Nirbhar Bharat will be implemented across all sectors including defence production. Noting that the Pangode Military Station is the only amphibious formation of the Indian Army, he said that amphibious capability plays a very important role.
Today, the goal is not just to protect the borders but also to prepare ourselves for future challenges — whether they be conventional or hybrid warfare, or complexities related to maritime and coastal security, Mr. Seth said.
Pangode Station Commander Brigadier Anurag Upadhyay, Commanding Officers, other officers and soldiers of the Madras Regiment and the Garhwal Rifles attended the function.
