The proposed transfer of NSTL Educational Society School to Dayanand Anglo-Vedic (DAV) management has drawn strong opposition from both parents and the NSTL Employee’s Union. Concerns were expressed over the decision, particularly as it is being considered during the ongoing academic year.
Parents stated that they chose the school based on its established academic standards, experienced teaching staff, educational environment, and curriculum. They fear that a change in management could lead to uncertainty regarding the continuation of qualified teachers, changes in curriculum, and alterations to the school’s educational philosophy and administrative practices.
Opposing the move, the NSTL Employee’s Union representatives argued that the school built a reputation for academic excellence over many years and consistently delivered quality education. They questioned the need for a change in management and called for greater transparency regarding the reasons behind the proposal.
Parents and union representatives further alleged that the NSTL Educational Society acted irresponsibly in handling the issue. According to them, stakeholders were not adequately consulted before initiating the transfer process, and concerns raised by parents, teachers, and employees have not been addressed in a transparent manner. They also demanded complete details of the proposed transfer be made public and an open discussion be held with all stakeholders.
