Wake Up Keralam, a collective of democratic citizens committed to resisting communalism and caste-based divisiveness, has strongly condemned the statements made by the SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan recently, which were allegedly communal in tone and which “vitiates the secular and harmonious atmosphere” of Kerala.
The statement on behalf of Wake Up Keralam has been signed by K. Satchidanandan, Sarah Joseph, K. Ajitha, Khadeeja Mumtaz, Rafeeq Ahmed, Veerankutty, Sheela Tomy, Haridas Kolathur and Smitha P. Kumar.
