As summer temperatures continue to rise in Tiruchi, arrangements are being made at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital (MGMGH) to treat members of the public complaining of heat-related stress, the authorities have said.
According to an official press release on Wednesday, 14 beds have been readied for heat stroke patients in the hospital. Eight beds have been set up in general wards, four in the Intensive Medical Care Unit (IMCU) and two in the Red Zone.
