The Congress office at Keezhattoor in the Dharmadam Assembly constituency came under attack in the early hours of Tuesday (May 5, 2026), following the declaration of Assembly election results. The Rajiv Bhavan office in Vengad panchayat was allegedly vandalised by a group of assailants.

Window panes and the flagpole were damaged. Furniture inside the office was also destroyed. Congress leaders alleged that CPI(M) workers were behind the attack.
