Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College recently held an event to distribute job offer letters to students who got placements in campus interview.
A release from the college said around 750 students secured placements through campus recruitment in the academic year 2025-26. Around 60 reputed companies including TCS, Hexaware, CTS and Zoho participated in the recruitment drive. The salary package offered was in the range of ₹13 lakh to ₹3. 5 lakh per annum, the release said.
Participating in the event, Jude Richard, Chief Architect at TCS said it was necessary for students to acquire technical and communication skills to meet the expectations of companies. “The students should work hard, think smart, stay responsible, maintain gratitude and integrity in work,” he said.
Others who spoke at the event, included Chancellor of Takshashila University and Chairman and Managing Director of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Educational Trust M. Dhanasekaran and Director-cum-Principal of the College V.S.K. Venkatachalapathy.
