Sringeri Sharada Peetham head Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharathi Swamy has reached Kerala for a three-day tour as part of the Kumbhabhishekam at Tali Balasubramanyam Temple, Kozhikode. He met devotees at Kozhikode on Friday and Saturday and will be in Kozhikode on Sunday too.
Bharathi Swamy was given a State reception at the Kerala-Karnataka border. State Police Chief Ravada A. Chandrasekhar and Kasaragod District Police Chief Vijay Bharat Reddy received the pontiff for the government.
Adi Sankara Trust managing trustee K. Anand, Sringeri Sharada Peetham dharmadhikari Karimpuzha Raman, Kerala Brahmana Sabha (KBS) Kozhikode district secretary Balamurali, KBS leaders from Palakkad M.R. Krishnan and P.H. Natarajan welcomed Bharathi Swamy at the border.
