Special Judge of Fast Track Court in Puducherry, M.D. Sumathi, on Thursday (April 30, 2026), found the lone surviving accused Kaka alias Karnas guilty of all charges in the sensational case of sexual assault and murder of a nine-year-old girl in 2024 in the Union Territory.
The judge found the accused guilty of charges including gang rape, murder, kidnapping, and under other relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Later, she posted the case to May 5 for sentencing of the accused.
