Curbing mule accounts, tightening KYC processes, and embedding cyber fraud prevention into bank performance metrics were the key highlights of a high-level banking conclave convened by the Hyderabad Police on Thursday, April 23, as part of the ongoing Operation Octopus crackdown.
The meeting, chaired by Hyderabad Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar, brought together 75 representatives from 45 public and private sector banks including regional managers, zonal managers, general managers, deputy general managers and nodal officers.
