Tiruppur district seeks applications for 75 Community Bank Coordinator posts

Seventy-five postings, accounting for nearly three-fourth of the vacancies for the position of Community Bank Coordinator, are to be made in the 13 blocks in Tiruppur district for facilitating implementation of schemes under Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women, Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission, District Mission Management Unit, and Block Mission Management Unit.

The district administration has called for applications from candidates with Plus Two qualification or SSLC with additional qualification (subject to approval by the District Collector) before May 29.

The applications have to be submitted to the Joint Director/ Project Director, Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission through the District Mission Management Unit, Room 305, District Collectorate, Tiruppur - 641607, District Collector Manish Narnaware said in a press release.

The selected candidates will be paid a monthly honorarium of ₹2,500 for performing the tasks of linking women Self-Help Groups to bank credit, collecting the repayment, imparting financial literacy, providing insurance services, electronic money delivery services and channeling bank funding to women SHG members for self-employment.

Candidates within 35 years of age will be required to submit details of age, date of birth, educational qualification, proof of address, and mobile phone, Plus Two certificate, proof of age (Aadhaar card, PAN Card and drivers licence), and two-wheeler driving licence.

The candidates will be chosen through an exam for 100 marks: 75 marks for written part and 25 marks for interview, the press release said.
