Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha, along with Penamaluru MLA Bode Prasad, visited Bandham Old Age Home on the occasion of Mother’s Day at Gosala in Krishna district on Sunday (May 10, 2026). The inmates of the old age home expressed happiness over the Minister’s visit.
The Home Minister enquired about the health condition of the inmates and their well-being. Ms. Anitha distributed saris and fruits to the inmates of the home.
“I am happy to celebrate Mother’s Day at Bandham Old Age Home. The role of a mother is very high in the society. I request the children to take care of their parents,” the Home Minister said. She took the blessings of the senior citizens on the occasion.
In Guntur, MLA Galla Madhavi felicitated women sanitation workers and arranged a health camp for them on the occasion. The MLA praised the sanitation workers for their dedication to work.
