With Bakrid approaching, Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar on Sunday held a high-level coordination meeting with representatives of various cow protection organisations at Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGICCC) in Banjara Hills to discuss security arrangements and maintenance of law and order during the festival.
The Commissioner said police had put in place elaborate security measures, including special check-posts at commissionerate borders, to prevent any untoward incidents.
