The Annamayya district administration directed officials to expedite the investigation of pending SC/ST atrocities cases and ensure timely justice and financial assistance to victims.
District Collector Nishant Kumar underlined the need for close coordination among Police, Revenue, and line departments involved in the enforcement process at a District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee (DVMC) review meeting held at the Collectorate here on Saturday. “The FIRs must be registered promptly in all atrocities cases and compensation released to victims without delay in accordance with legal provisions,” he said.
