“Soodikalaintha Malai” or the garland adorned by presiding deity Andal was sent from Andal temple in Srivilliputtur on Wednesday for adorning Lord Kallazhagar at Tallakulam in Madurai before He enters Vaigai River as part of Chithirai festival on Friday.

After special puja at the temple, along with the garland, a silk vastram, and a toy parrot were also sent from Andal Temple.
