The police seized three kg of ganja, and arrested two persons, near the Madanagopolapuram bus stop in Cuddalore district, on Wednesday evening.
The police were on patrol near the bus stop when they noticed two persons moving under suspicious circumstances. The suspects were identified as Krishnamoorthy, 26, and Rajaboobalan, 26, of Kullanchavadi.
The police recovered three kg of ganja from their possession. Further inquiry revealed that they had procured the contraband from Odisha. The two were produced before a local court and remanded in custody.
