“Infectious diseases continue to pose complex clinical challenges. Timely intervention, particularly in intensive care settings, plays a decisive role in improving patient outcomes,” said Infectious Diseases specialist Monalisa Sahu. She was speaking at the INCYCON-2026 conference organised by Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Organised under the aegis of the hospital’s Department of Infectious Diseases, the two-day conference is being conducted in association with the Clinical Infectious Diseases Society, Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists, and the Association of Physicians of India. The event aims to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange on emerging challenges and innovations in infectious diseases and intensive care.
