Bharathiar University (BU) has begun online registrations of eligible candidates seeking admission to UG/PG courses and PG Diploma courses offered through its departments for 2026-27 session through the link https://fms.b-u.ac.in/admission/, till May 15.

UG programmes: B.Sc (Blended) Physics, B.Sc (Blended) Chemistry, B.Sc (Blended) Biosciences, B.P.Ed., B.Voc. Multimedia and Animation, and B.Voc. Business Process and Data Analytics.

PG programmes: M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.C.A, M.Ed., M.P.Ed., Master of Library and Information Science. Candidates appearing for the final year/semester examinations of the UG degree can also apply.

Details of fee, scholarships, duration of the course, and hostel facilities have been made available in the university website www.b-u.ac.in, Registrar R. Rajavel said in a press release.

Candidates applying for admission to more than one PG degree programme, PG Diploma course and UG course will have to submit a separate application, along with registration fee of ₹400 for each. SC/ST candidates can pay ₹200 by producing a photo copy of community certificate.

The filled-in application downloaded from the admission portal should be enclosed with scanned copies of certificates: S.S.L.C, H.S.C, UG Statement of marks, Community Certificate, Provisional Certificate and Degree Certificate if any, and addressed to the Heads of the Departments, Bharathiar University,Coimbatore-641 046, on or before May 15.

For MBA, admission will be carried out through TANCET Entrance Examination and TNMBA Counselling, the press release said.
