National Conference (NC) president Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Thursday (May 7, 2026) said the alleged irregularities and malpractices in the West Bengal elections should be taken before the Supreme Court of India “to ensure justice”.

Referring to the statements of national level leaders over the poll results, Mr. Abdullah said,“[Trinamool Congress chief] Mamata Banerjee, [Samajwadi Party leader] Akhilesh Yadav and others are expressing concern over the poll results. I hope the matter reaches the Supreme Court and justice is delivered.”
