All India Congress Committee (AICC) member Sunkara Padmasree on Tuesday led a protest rally in Visakhapatnam, from the Ambedkar statue near the LIC Junction to the Gandhi statue outside the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) office, demanding the immediate implementation of the Women’s Reservation Bill without linking it to the census or delimitation exercise.

Participants carrying Congress flags raised slogans against the BJP-led Central government for its failure to implement the legislation passed by Parliament in 2023.
