In view of the traffic congestion in Kodaikanal during the peak summer vacation, Dindigul district administration has waived off entrance fee for all the tourists spots in the hill station till May 31.
A statement from Dindigul Collector, S. Saravanan, said that as per the instruction of Chief Minister, C. Joseph Vijay, the decision has been taken into account the higher inflow of tourists and to decongest the traffic flow.
The move would spare the tourists from waiting in long queues to get entrance tickets to the popular tourists spots like Pillar Rock, Guna Cave, Pine Forest and Moyar Point.
