Ahead of vote counting on Monday, the Chennai District Election Office inspected the preparedness at three counting centres in the district.
Electronic voting machines (EVM) were kept under three-tier security at Queen Mary’s College, Loyola College, and Anna University after polling on April 23. Counting observers have been appointed for each constituency to supervise the process and ensure compliance with the Election Commission’s guidelines.
