
















Fuel prices have gone up again for the second time in just five days, with Kolkata recording the steepest increase among major Indian cities. Petrol prices in Kolkata have risen to ₹109.70 per litre, while diesel now costs ₹96.07. The latest hike comes amid rising global crude oil prices linked to tensions in West Asia. Since last week, petrol and diesel prices have increased by nearly ₹4 per litre across the country, raising concerns over higher transport costs and the possible impact on prices of everyday goods.
