The police have detained three habitual offenders for allegedly damaging a few CCTV cameras fitted along the Tirunelveli – Kanniyakumari four-lane national highway.

Police said three miscreants, who were released from the jail recently, damaged the CCTV cameras fitted at Ponnakudi on the Tirunelveli – Kanniyakumari four-lane national highway.

Following information, the Moondradaippu police registered a case and arrested Vishal, 18, Kottaiyappan alias Gokul, 19 and Esakkimuthu, 20, all from Ponnaakudi.

They were remanded in judicial custody.
