Prakasam district Superintendent of Police (SP) V. Harshavardhan Raju inaugurated the summer sports and games coaching camp-2026 for children organised by the district police department at the Police Parade Ground in Ongole on Tuesday. He played cricket with the children for a while and encouraged them to take up sports.

Addressing the media, the SP said, “This camp is held every year during the summer vacation to enhance the mental wellbeing and interest of children in sports, as well as their skills in various games. The children of police staff and other students are given equal opportunity to participate in this month-long summer camp.”
