In a move aimed at improving the financial health of power utilities, Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) Gaurav Gupta has directed officials to prioritise revenue mobilisation alongside strengthening electricity distribution systems.
Presiding over a progress review meeting of Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC) at Kadakola, on the city outskirts, on Monday (May 4), Mr. Gupta stressed that increased power distribution must translate into higher revenue realisation.
