The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) entrance test will be held on May 9 for admissions to Under Graduate (UG) courses in over 150 private engineering colleges in Karnataka and pan-India member universities.
Including 43,069 candidates from Karnataka, a total of 1,30,620 candidates across India have registered for this test.
COMED-K UGET is a computer-based examination, which will be held across 28 States/Union Territories, 171 cities, and 303 test centres in two sessions. The first session will be held between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., whereas the second session will be held between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
COMED-K authorities have requested candidates to reach the examination centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the Test Admission Ticket. Candidates have to carry the admission ticket copy along with two recently taken passport-size colour photographs.
Regarding the dress code, COMED-K has clarified that since this is an all-India level examination, the dress code for the COMED-K – 2026 will be in line with what is advocated by the respective State government.
Candidates are allowed to carry the following to the exam hall:
1. Test Admit Ticket (TAT)
2. Two passport size photos
3. Unique ID proof as declared in application
4. Transparent water bottle
5. A pencil
