Working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) along with a delegation of party legislators and leaders visited a bengalgram (chickpea) procurement centre at Sadashivpet in Sangareddy district on Monday and demanded that the State government speed up the legume crop purchase at support price to prevent farmers from suffering loss.
He along with local MLA Chinta Prabhakar, MLAs Padi Kaushik Reddy, K. Sanjay and others interacted with farmers at the procurement centre where they were being made to wait for weeks for disposing of their produce.
