Minister for Higher Education P. Viswanathan has promised to bring a Government Arts and Science College to Virudhunagar.
Talking to reporters here on Monday, Mr. Viswanathan said that he would discuss the issue with the Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and would certainly bring a college to the soil of former Chief Minister K. Kamaraj.
Mr. Viswanathan, along with Minister for Tourism, S. Rajesh Kumar, and Virudhunagar MP, B. Manickam Tagore, paid their respects to Kamaraj at Kamaraj Illam.
He added that the Congress has formed a coalition Government and is part of the Tamil Nadu cabinet despite the DMK having firmly rejected the idea of coalition Government.
