Madras, April 25: The Madras Customs will shortly release into service a confiscated Arab dhow to intensify its anti-smuggling operations in the region, Mr. G. Sankaran, Collector of Customs, said on Saturday.
The dhow had been recently confiscated by the Bombay Customs, while it was engaged in smuggling operations between India and the Gulf countries.
