A.P. Maritime Board Chairman Damacherla Satya has been appointed as the Tirupati Zone Coordinator of Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Sarvepalli MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy made the announcement during a review meeting on ‘Virtual Mahanadu’ programme in Tirupati on Monday.
“Satya coordinates everyone. I have a connection with his grandfather Damacherla Anjaneyulu, who served as a Minister,” the MLA said, while clarifying the responsibility of the constituency in-charges to ensure that every leader and activist participate in the ‘Mahanadu’ online event.
“A grand Mahanadu was supposed to be held in Nellore from May 27-29, 2026. Due to the war situation in West Asia, it was decided that it would be held virtually from the TDP central office in Mangalagiri. This is the first Mahanadu being held after Nara Lokesh was appointed as the working president,” he added.
The leaders from national and State committees will gather at the TDP central office, and all the leaders from 78 clusters in Tirupati Parliament constituency are going to attend Mahanadu virtually. They will watch the programme through LED screens set up in each cluster.
TUDA Chairman C. Diwakar Reddy, Srikalahasti MLA Bojjala Sudheer Reddy and TTD Board Member Panabaka Lakshmi were also present during the review meeting. They discussed in detail the arrangements for organising the event virtually.
