A training programme on vote counting for counting supervisors, micro observers and assistants was held here by District Collector and Election Officer C. Dinesh Kumar. Postal ballots of elderly above 85 years of age, differently abled individuals, government staff, ex-service personnel and those engaged in election duty will also be counted on May 4.
According to Mr. Dinesh Kumar, 135 supervisors, 162 assistants and 138 micro observers would be engaged in vote counting. Each table will be under camera surveillance. Round-wise voting data will be uploaded on Encore website. He urged the supervisors, assistants and micro observers to strictly follow the guidelines and protocols of the Election Commission of India.
