S.N. Narain assumed charge as the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Southern Railway on Wednesday. He succeeds K. Senthamil Selvan, who has now been posted as the Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer of the Royapuram Electric Loco Shed.
Mr. Narain, who was an officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service from the 2010 batch, had been the Private Secretary to the Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Tourism. He has served in various capacities in the operations and commercial wings across different Divisions of Southern Railway.
