Three persons were arrested by the Narsingi police for fabricating Government Orders and attempting to illegally sell around 10 acres of government land in Gandipet by falsely claiming ownership of the property.

The accused were identified as Nimmala Rajesh Goud, Nimmala Venugopal and Nimmala Sai Kiran. Police said the trio was arrested in connection with an alleged conspiracy involving forged land documents, fake G.Os and illegal land transactions linked to government poramboke land located in Survey No. 18 of Gandipet village in Rangareddy district.

The case came to light after Srinivas Reddy, Tahsildar of Gandipet Mandal, lodged a complaint on May 23 stating that fabricated G.Os were being circulated through WhatsApp groups and social media platforms. The fake documents claimed that the government land had been regularised and allotted to private individuals.

Based on the complaint, the Narsingi police registered a case and launched an investigation. During searches conducted at the houses of the accused, police seized bank passbooks, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) documents, mobile phones and a laptop.

Investigators said the accused, who are family members of late Dasarath and residents of Gandipet village, had claimed possession over nearly 10 acres of government land despite having no legal ownership or title over it. Police said the family had earlier approached the High Court seeking relief over the land, but their petitions were dismissed in October 2025.

Despite the court dismissing their claims, the accused allegedly entered into an agreement with Bolla Ramesh and Brahma Naidu to sell the land for ₹3.5 crore per acre by projecting themselves as lawful owners. Police said that MoUs were executed as part of the conspiracy and that nearly ₹4 crore was collected from prospective buyers in connection with the proposed transaction.

During the investigation, police also found that fake G.Os and forged documents were allegedly created to falsely show that the government had regularised and allotted the land in favour of the accused.

Police said several others, including Bolla Ramesh, Brahma Naidu, Sunil and Radhakrishna, are absconding and efforts are underway to trace and arrest them. Four special teams have been formed for further investigation.

The Cyberabad Police also cautioned the public against relying on unverified Government Orders, land documents or social media forwards while entering into property transactions. Officials advised buyers to verify ownership and title records with the Revenue and Registration Departments before purchasing land.
