The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has invited applications from children above 5 years not exceeding 18 years who have demonstrated excellence and outstanding contributions in the field of Sports, Social Service, Science Technology, Environment and Arts and Culture for selection of Pradhan Manthri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Award. 

Director of the Department of Women and Child Development S. Sathiyamoorthy in a release said the Ministry has set July 31 as the last date for submitting the nomination for the award. The nominations/recommendations for the award would be received online through the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal (https://awards.gov.in) designed for the purpose. Either the applicant himself/herself could fill the form, or the institutions could nominate the child for the award, the release added.
