It was a week of resurrection for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2026 during the past week, starting with Easter. The Super Giants registered back-to-back wins after beginning their campaign with a loss to Delhi Capitals at home.

After winning two away matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders, respectively, Super Giants host Gujarat Titans at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday (April 12, 2026) and will look to extend its newfound resurgence. However, Ekana Cricket Stadium is far from being a fortress for the Super Giants, where they won only two home matches last season. LSG will look to flip the script this time around.

LSG’s explosive batting line-up is yet to fire at full throttle. The openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram haven’t been able to convert their starts while Nicholas Pooran is still searching for a substantial score.
It was the individual brilliance of Rishabh Pant and rookie Mukul Choudhary that saw LSG pull off victories in its previous two matches. Skipper Pant will look for a collective effort from his side against the Titans. The in-form pacer Mohammed Shami also needs a little more support. Prince Yadav has oscillated from brilliant to mediocre. The spinners, Digvesh Rathi and Manimaran Siddharth, have bowled with control in the middle overs and will relish the slow surface at the venue.
The Titans too are searching for consistency and come to this match on the back of a thrilling win against Delhi Capitals. They have racked up 200-plus scores in their last two matches. The Titans possess the batting firepower to dismantle any bowling attack. However, their bowling has been erratic. Rashid Khan’s return to form augurs well for the Titans and he will hold the key.
