Home Minister G.Parameshwara on Tuesday said that the State government is committed to ensuring the welfare of police personnel who play a key role in maintaining law and order.
He was speaking after inaugurating police quarters built at a cost of about ₹20.88 crore in Kalaburagi district under a joint initiative of the Kalaburagi City and District Police and the Karnataka State Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation.
