IAS officer Aditya Varma took charge as the new Project Officer of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Paderu, in Alluri Sitharama Raju district on Saturday (April 11, 2026). He succeeded the outgoing PO Tirumani Sripuja, who has been transferred as the new Joint Collector of ASR district.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Aditya Varma stated that he would ensure all government welfare schemes for tribal communities are effectively implemented and reach every eligible beneficiary. He further emphasised that special focus would be placed on improving educational standards in tribal schools and on ensuring access to quality education and healthcare services in remote areas.
Stressing the need for skill development, he said efforts would be made to provide training to tribal youth to enhance their employment opportunities. Creating sustainable livelihoods for unemployed tribal youth would be a key priority, he added.
Mr. Aditya Varma also said that he would undertake field visits to directly understand and resolve the issues faced by the people.
