A software engineer reportedly died and another sustained injuries in a road accident at Chinna Palaparru village in the early hours of Saturday (May 2, 2026). The deceased was identified as Jayaram (28), a native of Vanudurru village in Eluru district. Mr. Jayaram, who works in France, had come to India to attend a wedding in his native village. The accident occurred while he was returning to Hyderabad, when the car collided with a lorry parked on the roadside at Chinna Palaparru. Jayaram died on the spot, while the driver suffered injuries. Police have registered a case.
