Considering the welfare of a Muslim child, the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has appointed a Hindu couple as the child’s legal guardian.
The court was hearing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal filed against the order passed by the Family Court, Madurai. The Family Court had dismissed the petition filed by the appellant for appointment as the legal guardian of the child.
