A major fire broke out in a high-rise residential building in Indirapuram in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) morning, prompting a large-scale firefighting and rescue operation, officials said.
The blaze erupted on the eleventh floor of the Gaur Green Avenue Society at around 9 a.m., spreading to multiple flats across several floors, a fire department official said.
