District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore on Monday released posters for the ‘Kishori Vikaasam’ summer training and awareness programme, marking the launch of camps scheduled across the district till June 11, 2026.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kishore described the programme as crucial for the empowerment, safety, and holistic development of adolescent boys and girls. The camps aim to build awareness among adolescents on life skills, education, health, and gender equality in a safe environment.
District Women and Child Welfare Officer K.V. Ramalakshmi, District Mission Coordinator Santhoshi Kumari, DCPO Harikrishna, and DCPU staff were present.
