A short film made by students of the Government U.P. School at Karara in Attappady has won the first runner-up award for the best student short film at the LK International Short Film Festival held in Kochi.
The film, titled ‘You Will Pay a Heavy Price’, carries a strong anti-smoking and anti-alcohol message. Its story, screenplay and production were handled by members of the school’s Indiwood Film Club.
