Koppal district is set to establish a district-level multi-purpose labour cooperative society for outsourced workers on the lines of the Bidar model, with Deputy Commissioner Suresh B. Itnal directing officials to initiate necessary steps in this regard.

Chairing a preliminary meeting of district-level officers from various departments at his office on Thursday (April 30), Mr. Itnal said that forming the cooperative would help streamline wage payments and ensure statutory benefits for outsourced employees working across government departments, boards, and corporations.
