The Andhra Pradesh Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (APMEPMA) Employees Union and Velugu Village Organisation Assistants (VOA) Association affiliated to Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) staged a protest on Wednesday demanding payment of five months salary arrears.
The protest was held in response to a call issued by the State committees of the unions at the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Gandhi Statue junction.
